About the Product
As Bright as an 8,000W Halogen — Runs on Zero Electricity
Most solar lights look good on paper and let you down the first cloudy week. The IvanCo Best Deal Solar Street Light is built to stay on even when the sun hasn't been out — up to 36 hours in low-light mode on a single charge. It covers 3,600 square feet, runs 1,080 high-output LED chips, and gives you four ways to control it depending on how your space is used. The "8000W" in the name refers to halogen equivalent brightness — this light puts out the same amount of light as an 8,000W halogen flood would, but runs entirely on solar power with zero electricity cost. IP67 rated, so rain, snow, and cold down to -4°F won't stop it. No wiring, no electrician. Mount it on a wall or pole in about 20 minutes and it runs itself from there.
Four Modes — Pick the One That Fits Your Space
- Dusk to Dawn: Turns on at sunset, turns off at sunrise. Nothing to set, nothing to remember. Best for: anywhere you want the light on every night without touching it.
- Motion Sensor Mode: Runs at 30% brightness when the area is empty, jumps to 100% when it picks up movement, drops back down once the area clears. Best for: driveways, parking lots, and side gates where you want to save battery without leaving things completely dark.
- Timer Mode: Full brightness for 2, 3, 5, 6, or 8 hours after dusk — then dims on its own. Best for: business entrances, event spaces, or anywhere with a predictable schedule.
- Brightness Adjustment: Lock the light at 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% using the remote. Best for: areas where you want some light but full brightness isn't needed — back porches, garden paths, low-traffic areas.

Questions People Actually Ask
What does "8000W" actually mean on this light?
It means this light puts out the same amount of brightness as a traditional 8,000-watt halogen flood light would. It doesn't actually use 8,000 watts — it runs on solar power and draws a fraction of that. The label is a way of comparing brightness to something most people already know. Think of it like an LED bulb that says "replaces 60W incandescent" — same idea, just at a much bigger scale.
What's the difference between the four modes?
Dusk to Dawn turns on at sunset and off at sunrise automatically. Motion Sensor runs dim when nobody's around and full brightness when it detects movement. Timer Mode runs at full brightness for a set number of hours then dims on its own. Brightness Adjustment lets you lock it at 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% using the remote. You pick one and it runs that way every night.
What happens on cloudy days — will it still come on at night?
Yes. The battery holds enough charge to run for up to 36 hours in low-light mode, so one or two overcast days won't leave you in the dark. After a long stretch of bad weather, it'll dim rather than shut off completely.
How does the motion sensor work?
When the area is empty, the light runs at 30% brightness to save battery. The moment it detects movement in range, it jumps to 100%. Once the area clears, it drops back to 30% after a short delay. It runs automatically once you select motion sensor mode — nothing else to set.
What does IP67 mean in plain terms?
IP67 means the light is fully sealed against dust and can survive being submerged in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. For outdoor use that means heavy rain, snow, sprinklers, and puddles are not going to damage it.
Does it need an electrician to install?
No. There's no wiring at all. The solar panel is built into the unit — it charges during the day and runs the light at night on its own. You mount it on a wall or pole and walk away. Most people finish in about 20 minutes.
What pole size does it fit?
It fits poles between 1.5 and 4 inches in diameter, which covers most standard outdoor poles and fence posts. It also mounts flat on any wall if you don't have a pole.
How long do the LEDs last?
50,000 hours. At 10 hours of use per night that's around 13 years before you'd notice any real drop in brightness.
How far does the remote work?
Up to 35 feet. You can switch modes or adjust brightness from the ground without a ladder. Note — the remote battery is not included in the box, you'll need one standard battery to use it.
Can this handle a real winter?
Yes. It's rated down to -4°F and up to 140°F. The die-cast aluminum bracket won't rust or crack in freezing temperatures. Rain, snow, and ice are not a problem.
